Things To Consider When Buying A Scale.

by Admin 30. July 2008 11:41

Things to consider when buying a scale.

·         Who will be using it? Look for postal scales that have a user friendly keypad and an easy to read digital display. You will want a postal scale that is easy for everyone to use.

·         Postal scale Capacity. Make sure you get a postal scale that is capable of handling the weight you will be shipping. Ensure that the platform is large enough for the size of package you will be weighing. Make sure that if you are using larger scales that the display will be visible when weighing the package or that it comes with a tare feature.

·         Postage Rate Comparison: This feature allows you to compare prices from the different types of mail classes. It will allow you to evaluate the prices from all the different major carriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS.

·         Shipping software: To reduce errors and speed up the shipping process many digital postage scales can be connected directly to shipping software. Manufacturers offer postal scales designed to work with its mid-range and high-end programs. Some scales in this area are also required to be legal for trade. You will also need to determine what type of interface you will need between you scale and the computer being used and if they are compatible.

If you don’t need to connect to a shipping program, you can buy postage scales from any manufacturer. If you have any questions before you make a purchase I recommend you speak with a representative.

Why are Electric Grills better than Charcoal or Gas Grills?

by Jackie 18. July 2008 14:50

Hello!

My name is Jackie and I am one of the owners here at Quick Supply. I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and touch on the subject of Electric Grills with you.

A lot is changing in our world today and its changing fast. Technology is hard to keep up with, but its good to know that some things stay the same like our love for Barbecue! Getting together with friends and family, firing up the grill, and enjoying the sunshine is one of the things so many of us look forward to in the summertime.

I know its hard for some people to accept change where their Grill in concerned...Gas or Propane? Perhaps you prefer charcoal? Both are great, but there is a better option. Electric Grills come in many sizes and are very affordable. With the changes being made in housing area's like Condo's, Town Houses and Apartments, a lot of the code standards are now being updated and Electric Grills are replacing gas and charcoal across the nation. Personally I think this is a much safer alternative.

Electric Grills  are safe to use and burn cleanly. Today’s Electric grills are not like your typical toaster oven... You can control the heat to sear or to slow cook. The heat is evenly distributed to maintain a constant temperature across the grilling surface, and the flavor plates catch the juices dripping off the meat, vaporize them, and sends the flavors back up into your meat. This process will provide an unparallel grilling experience with taste and flavor you wouldn't believe.

Many Electric Grills also come with a Rotisserie for grilling chicken, turkey, fish....you name it! Cooking with a rotisserie is much healthier, and healthy never tasted so good! The meats constantly coat themselves in their own juices while the "fat" which is heavier, drains off leaving you with a mouthful of flavor. You can also choose from our large line of Grilling accessories, which include Forks and Tongs, to old-fashioned mop head basters and even fish, corn or shish kabobs!

No more running out to get the tank filled up, No more cleaning out messy ashes, just turn it on and your ready to own the backyard or balcony with your own personal Electric Grill. There are many choices you can make when choosing your new Electric Grill. You decide...will it be a Meco, Dimplex or Electri-Chef?

Fuel costs make it wise to purchase a good Postal Scale

by Shane 18. July 2008 14:01

More and more companies and individuals are selling things on the internet. Whether it be on ebay or on there own web site. The cost of fuel is driving up the cost of shipping. So it is very important that you have a postal scale that can do the job and do it right the first time. You dont want to get returned packages from the postal service or from one of the major shipping carriers because you will have to pay for postage again. Not only will the package be late and you out of a profit on the sale you will also have an angry customer.

Postal scales come in many different catagories and sizes. You can shop for all your needs at Quicksupply.net. Customer service is also available ito help you with any questions that you may have to make a decision.  The main thing here is that you should do it right the first time and save yourself the grief.
